My parents were born to farmers and steel workers, barely living above the poverty line. They retired to the 90th percentile. That's good enough for me and I'm proud of them for building a good life for themselves. My dad is unironically my hero.

What are you making for Thanksgiving dinner anons? I'm making roast chicken, cornbread/sausage/fennel stuffing, coleslaw, and I just finished my pumpkin pie earlier this morning.
I did a big turkey last year (w/ mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce) so I'm trying some new things this year. Most of my family is on the opposite coast so I've spent the past few Thanksgivings alone, but it's nice to try new things and create your own little traditions.

Not a day-trader, just a boring blue-chip dude. Calculated by ROI for the year and its the first time that passive growth surpassed my spending (30k in growth for everything owned on Jan 01, vs 20k spending). About half of that is pre-tax so in reality is probably closer to even, but it feels good to reach that milestone. Total investments are around 200k in various accounts, so 15% gain.

Hoping to continue building that engine and grow exponentially, will probably dump another 30k into $D after end-of-year bonuses pay out.

Don´t get too greedy and take some profits.
The amount of shorts open on Bitfinex is currently 1,43x the 20 day average volume. Last time amount of shorts exceeded 20 day average volume, we saw a huge squeeze from under 7k to 8,2k in 30 minutes.

Make your own decisions, but don´t be similar to the guys not taking profit at 19k
