hey /biz/ i need some real estate help for a possible investment. My neighbors house had a kitchen fire where the fire department had to come and put it out. Long story short the house is having a sheriff sale.
From digging around i managed to find out that they owe a 40k mortgage.
During this sheriff sale, how much do you think the upset price will be?
I know the bank will be there at the sheriff sale and bidding, so i was thinking 20k in cash i can put up but after that it's not worth it i think since i have to pay to repair this place. Thanks for the help /biz/
