When did turtle went live?
According to the release date of their first version of the wallet on Jan 9 2018.

So why didn't these guys did a public launch like any other coin? Before the first block is mined there's an announcement for it, so everyone can jump into it.

Well the reason is, greedy devs mined the first blocks for themselves so they could accumulate lots of TRTL, millions per hour I must say, so premined coins wasn't necessary at all.

I'm not here to say to you "STOP MINING/BUYING", but know the facts peps.

Are we still at the part of the market where memes are more important than fundamentals?

Why aren't you buying TRTL for one sat each? The price physically can not go below one sat, so the worst case scenario you have as much money as you started with. Best case this 100x in Q2.

Hey /biz/ can you show me some guidance when it comes to renting a house? Its in Southern California, worth about $1 million. What kind of information should I know? I want to learn about this before I start. The house does not belong to me, but I have permission to rent it, is that allowed?

Unemployment isn't a mistake, it's a key structural feature of capitalism.

Employment is a cost for firms but unemployment ends up being a cost for society. In John Maurice Clark's 1923 "Studies in the Economics of Overhead Costs" he points out labour should be considered as an overhead cost of doing business rather than as a variable cost of the employing firm because the cost of maintaining the worker and his family ends up having to be borne by someone whether or not that worker is actually employed.

Requiring firms to purchase a certain magnitude of labour based upon their profit levels is stupid and would make firms waste more labour over making potential capital investments which is preferable.

In more Marxist terms labour power under capitalism is always a commodity and this means unemployment is profitable for individual firms. To make unemployment unprofitable you would need to decommodify labour power and treat it as a common-pool resource: http://blogs.sfu.ca/courses/fall2012/lbst311/?p=978
