If one whale dumps, it will take a while for the other whales to catch on and start selling. They all have way too much volume to move without taking massive losses (see the first red crash wick). Whats more, many were actually buying up the wick instead of dumping.

If ethereum goes to many times the Jan 2016 price, then most people should be able to sell to the whales just fine if a crash happens, and end up within the first red candle body,. 3/4 or 2/3 of 20x money is a great deal.

The whales would be stuck taking losses of 1/2 or more.
