Does anyone know if I have to file capital gains tax if my profits are below the allowance threshold for the year? Right now my profit is technically zero because I've never sold anything and am only really in it for hold, but I want to move a few hundred from BTC into XRP while BTC is high and XRP is low but I don't really want to fill out tax returns. I'm pretty sure you only have to file once you hit the threshold, which I won't be going anywhere near, just don't want to get bummed by taxman. Am in the UK.
