I was just offered a job making $96000/yr as a healthcare consultant. I’m a junior in university studying molecular biology. I’ll save you the backstory, but I’m looking for car recommendations. Something inexpensive, but reliable, won’t lose too much resale value (I plan to leave the USA in a 3 or so years for better prospects). I don’t want too spend too much or too little money.

Would I be fine with just a used Japanese car (Toyota/Honda) that is a few years old from a dealership).
