It's highly unlikely for these individuals, though you can look at lifelong vegetarian populations for generations such as the Hindus, Sikhs, or 7th day adventists that have not eaten meat for thousands of years, and are functionally still the same. These populations are large and of course among them you'll find some individuals who excelled intellectually just like with any other population.

It's also interesting to note though that higher IQ people also have a higher chance to become vegetarian
