There's a lot of people who lost a lot of NANO in the bitgrail fiasco (google if you are not aware) so there is a lot of built up resentment for those who lost money. It was a very unfortunate moment in crypto for them, but it doesn't change the reality of the potential for the coin (which, yes, isn't perfect yet). The excess FUD isn't really doing much though, people with real money who don't spend time FUDDING and copy pasting poorly cited sources will be the ones to take advantage when the next bull run happens
