I know at least some of /biz/ invests long term. Trying to figure out my IRA allocations. 27 years old, agressive outlook:

30% Large Cap Blend
20% Mid Cap Blend
20% Small Cap Growth
10% International
5% Emerging
10% Long Term Treasury Bonds
5% Gold, Cash, REIT

It's hard to diversify to international stocks and bonds when the S&P has been killing it, plus infinite QE and low interest rates seem to favor growth stocks. Plan to rebalance at 40 years old. What do you think?

If you had bitcoin in 2016, how could you possibly have hands of steel and hold until almost 20k? Rhetorical question, I would have sold at 10k max. Major props to those that held on.

I bought at 47 a few months ago and am holding.

Increase market share over Intel, possible Apple partnership on their macs, low if any debt, more people working from home...they seem like a good buy to go long and they've crabbed in the low 40s for a while.

Cool cool, I feel kind of bad ripping out such small gains.

but during my good time these last two days I made a little over 20%

What I'm interested in knowing is, when you do manage to rip out 15-20% out of one coin, what do you do, just reinvest in a lesser value coin?
