Because they beat artificially lower estimates + strongest AI position in the market. Plus, once a large cap has escalated as much as NVDA this year, the market looks for any excuse to continue the pump. Call it market enthusiasm.
Earnings are -20% compared to last year and I believe we can all agree that they won't become any better any time soon. Unless we see some major changes in the economy and companies start buying NVDA products en masse for some kind of AI datacenters or whatever
