I'll look into Santander a bit. I'm picking the banks I know to be very cash heavy and unpopular (in the eyes of wall st.). COF having that shit with the CFTC is a definite warning about needed to vet the shit out of banks.

we might see a Nikkei situation. We could also only post gains due to inflation. I'd rather just sit in gold or gold miners if this continues too much longer. There's a long term bullishness to the financial sector at the moment, but I have a strong feeling people are going to freak out over defaulted loans and the housing market. Right now is an ok buy, but I'm pretty sure Buffet-sama would be mildly displeased with me.
