>Maintain house
>Even inexpensive modest house requires upkeep and costly maintenance over time
>Go on vacations, even cheap camping trips, can cost thousands when all is said and done for a family of 4
>Constant worry and stress from raising kids. They're not hard or bad kids, but raising functional humans takes effort and work

I don't regret having kids. I regret not being more focused on my career in my 20's. It's nice having a life and feeling fat things like love and human connection every day, but god damn do I sometimes envy those 20 something year old van dwellers
