I think, it‘s a decision mostly for psychological reasons. Some people like to get dividends and are fine to forgo some diversification for that.

When an Eastern sage was desired by his sultan to inscribe on a ring the sentiment which, amidst the perpetual change of human affairs, was most descriptive of their real tendency, he engraved on it the words : — "And this, too, shall pass away." It is impossible to imagine a thought more truly and universally applicable to human affairs than that expressed in these memorable words, or more descriptive of that perpetual oscillation from good to evil, and from evil to good, which from the beginning of the world has been the invariable characteristic of the annals of man, and so evidently flows from the strange mixture of noble and generous with base and selfish inclinations, which is constantly found in the children of Adam.

Remember when people were posting charts from other pandemics and expecting an 8-12% dip? Now people are posting charts of the Great Depression and expecting 60%.

You rotate between Cocaine, Microdosing Methamphetamine, and Psilocybin. All of the good times, without having to increase dosage as much because of tolerance.

So I have a question about options. Maybe one of you guys can help me out, it sure would be appreciated. I understand that Implied volatility affects the price of an option, that's how I made money on my APT puts today even though they were out of the money. I noticed the price of the options I had gone down after I sold them, I have come to the conclusion that this must be because the implied volatility of APT also went down. How is volatility measured? I know it is a complex equation but says a stock went up 100% in a day, and then down 100%, would there be any change in volatility from the start to the end of the day? Based on what happened with my APT put I would say no because the price was the same at the end of the day as it was in the beginning. Sorry for being retarded :)
