My steps are:

Create XUMM Wallet

Create MEW Wallet

Place MEW ETH address in XUMM wallet message field

verify my account is set up correctly using
https://bithomp.com/explorer/
https://flare.tools/spark/

Wait for Flare network to launch

Create Flare wallet using MEW ETH keys

The Flare wallet will have my Spark in it.
