pic related is what i did as a simple test for a micro mount. Nothing pretty, but i eventually put the piece on a nice clear post and it worked great. Your right though, finding actual buyers may be a pain, i may have to just collect a bunch of good material and go to Vancouver or wait for a regional gem show.

I will for SURE be checking out that linked property though, the guy who linked me it is in talks to option the property but wants two or more pros to investigate it for a season before anything goes down money wise. If gold like that pic is there, it shouldnt be hard to find.
