there is nothing better for a government than a populace working their entire natural life just for shelter through the mechanism of inflation

the only thing that isn't an investment is gold

it would be a better deal than we have today if there was no tax and inflation but you had to give 80% of your wealth to the government every ten years

because right now we do that anyway on top of tax

Working because you enjoy it not because you have to is great, very difficult to achieve without understanding gold is the measure of value over time though

Its not necessary to confiscate gold when the fiat currency is no longer redeemable in gold, not every devaluation of the usd has coincided with a confiscation pic related.
If there was a gold confiscation it would accelerate crypto adoption massively
I still haven't made up my mind if governments want crypto or they just know they can't stop it as any regulation has been reasonable at worst since 2009.
