Super new to options trading, but I'm trying to understand what the benefit of higher calls are from a risk management point of view. From my perspective. Seems like you'd want the call to be reasonably close to the current price so your break even point is lower and you minimize the loss while ensuring you get into the profit zone faster. But seems like people tend to push for intrinsic value to be higher than I expected.

What am I missing here? I assume there must be a benefit. Is it more about the risk management factor in that you lose less of your money in case it fucks up?

I probably will sell but I only have 175 wrapped up in Coinbase and I'd rather transfer it to Robinhood since I'm just fucking around with it and I really don't give a fuck about crypto gains.
