Actually this was just an ordinary swing entry for me well before all the Iran brouhaha. I expected a possible retry at the September high just on technicals of the gold/oz and gold futures charts + finding out that gold demand from international banks for 2019 and last bit of 2018 was unusually high, fear about the market in general in light of the repo stuff and soft GDP numbers. Initial entry on certain miners was December 3 with additional monies added after I saw a higher low form on the daily around December 13 and 16.
