It is well understood how you average user interacts with the internet. Most people only read headlines, and it is IMPERATIVE that you have opposition/counter signalling in the first few comments of any article as this will frustrate casual viewers who will "move along" and remaining undecided.
They NEED to have naysayers here because anyone who views these threads will feel like there is a counter thesis. And they will see the official narrative coming from yahoo finance articles etc saying GME is a dead play. It is a scatter-gun tier spray tactic. It is not meant to influence individuals but muddy the overall perception of what is really happening. They cannot allow for any vacuum of discussion to exist because the hivemind can process information far too efficiently for normal propaganda to counteract.

No way. This was always going to happen as the sh0rties are in a do-or-die situation. This is the death throes of a trapped rodent being crushed in our coils. Every time they wiggle and drop the price we can tighten our grip. There is no getting off of this launch pad, the gamma ramp happens in power hour.

Whenever there is plenty of hype everyone seems to go silent while we wait for the hard-hitting news/DD that will eventually come out. The shills are learning the talking points to fud the BBBY earnings now that it is not headed for bankruptcy.

I think we all remember those glory days of popping off $15-$30 within the span of 20 minutes.
I think we are on the cusp of that kind of volatility returning. They have things tamped down... for now. But the shillies feel weaker than ever when they NEED the price this low because likely their margin collateral is being depleted on an already massively overleveraged portfolio.
Are you all ready to WAGMI?

I've never been more excited about my financial situation in my life. My portfolio has several moon shots that are on the cusp of revolutionizing my life. I have lots of dividend income. I have precious metals so I can survive even a complete implosion. I have been dabbling in options and just had my monthly income expand as a result. I am expecting a raise this month as well. And my hangover finally went away.
I used to think Sundays were always dreary and bitter sweet. But now that I work from home it literally doesn't matter to me anymore. Life is fucking sweet, bros.

I don't think everyone made it out safely. And the price action since January 2021 is impossibly bizarre and can not be explained without a systemic short position that remains open.
You understand that a small hedge fund and traders who may be short a few thousand shares can escape whereas a Market Maker that was cellar boxing and providing ALL of the liquidity via shorting has no chance. You can't just magically buy up millions upon millions of shares without impacting the price. They are the ones who are stuck and can only stabilize themselves by injecting the poisonous buy orders that flow in incessantly at a 90%:10% ratio.
Womp womp womp.

Retail is locking up the float, thereby limiting supply, and the price is dropping. This is impossible to explain without a systemic-naked short trade that cannot be closed.
We all can see it plain as day.

And this is what is so bizarre is that we can see with absolute certainty that people are locking up their shares and that half the float is not being traded. So who the fuck is even selling shares in large enough quantity to make the price go down if not the short sellers?
I can't even believe that people are literally alive on this planet right now and their world is not GME. This is like looking into the beating heart of humanity's most evil adversary knowing we could potentially deal a killing blow to the power brokers once and for all. It's so profound that I truly need to sit back and reconsider if we're all not just a bunch of schizos. It's way too good to be true.

My favorite part was being absolutely astounded that our company actually did a share-dividend to shove 4x leverage down the throat of any systemic short position.
In business school I learned some vocabulary words such as "poison pill" to where management teams can make moves to defend themselves from hostile takeovers. To actually sit here and be apart of a move that had a company fuck the systemic shorts in the bunghole is the most exciting thing I have ever seen in finance.
Even AFTER moass, once the shorts are gone then all of Wallstreet will be free to pile in on the long side. I know for damn sure that all traders from all major institutions are just sitting on the sidelines to see if one of their own can survive somehow. There is no reason why they wouldn't pump and dump all over retail when we have half the float locked up. People were buying at $180 and never stopped buying, yet the price falls. It's so comically obvious what is going on once you read the DD. We are all literally on the cusp of wagmi.

Companies lose money for YEARS sometimes if they are investing in future growth. This pretty common stuff. All of your objections are easily dismissed. However, the URGENCY with which you are now fudding betrays the short position.
No one gives a fuck about the price per share given the NATURE of what a systemic short position is trying to do. You want the price to go down and you also NEED the price to go down. We simply don't have to sell, but you HAVE to buy.
One of the biggest bull cases for GME is not only MOASS itself, but once the zombie-hedgies are 6 feet under then Wallstreet will be free to pile in on the long side. We'll likely experience massive gains as Gamestop becomes one of the new FAANG stocks. We simply have to forcefully vacate the dead, stinking, rotting hedgies first.
