My personal pick would be Avalanche since the tech seems to be a lot better (e.g. Avalanche Consensus, subnets, managed to handle up to 98%+ of Ethereum's traffic like it was nothing) while Solana has gotten so many outages it's practically a meme at this point, BUT Solana is more normie-friendly and its current price action might be better suited for those who don't wanna commit to hodl for a long time (AVAX is a long-term play).
