Not for swaps between Ethereum, Binance and Matic chains. The point of Rubic is to become an universal exchange that interconnects all the blockchains and uses whatever platforms and tools are available to do so. Weather it be 1nch's agregators, chainlink oracles, uniswap liquidity, Matic's L2 solution, etc..

From what I've read the token will be used as a transaction tax mechanism when doing crosschain swaps, so you'll pay a fee in RBC instead of ETH, or BSC when moving them across blockchains. Not to mention the developer fund to make any of this possible and staking on top of that.
