You can short expensive clothes, diamonds, jewellery, flowers and other things men dont usually care for but buy anyway when seeking/being in a long term relationship. There are less of those in general and high divorce rates also make men wary of investing in expensive gifts. On the other hand you can long tourism, seems like couples do more and more of that now.
