not in general but extreme negative funding rates can sometimes mark reversals. In the 2017 bull run I did the math on whether you would have made money from funding if you took the higher funding position on bitmex and found that you would have made 3x more money by buying the "expensive" position in funding rather than try to make money on funding.

this leads me to believe that unless something changed drastically, in general the funding is telling you the correct direction of the market i.e. people who are paying funding are going in the right direction, unless its a reversal.

actually no, in most cases buying an nft is not "buying a picture" unless that picture can be recreated with blockchain data from a full node. in actuality you are buying the provenance of a piece of art, it's inherently a social contract, NFTs are just the first technological method to allow the establishment and permissionless secondary trading of such assets. in the case of milady the images are completely centralized, the token just points to a url on the miladymaker server. this is fine because the token is a social contract between the owner and the issuer (the creator or rightful seller of the art if the NFT is legitimate) that shows the provenance of that artwork and allows for resale of it on secondary markets. the image itself can just be right click saved.
