I realized that in fact everything else is illusion, and God is the truth.

There is one word of caution though, religion is extremely divisive for undisciplined people. They tend to listen to the evil voice in their head and justify it as a "good voice" when it suits them. Which is why it's a *touchy* subject for almost everyone since they are quick to label hypocrite.

To be honest, I would really recommend reading the Old and New Testaments and understanding how Jesus actually fulfilled all of the prophecies. Isaiah Chapter 53 (Old Testament) is an interesting read about Jesus Messiah
