their profit margins for truckls and SUV's is high, like half the total asking price

their profit margin for cars and sedans that are not the mustang, is close to 0, with some vehicles in particular being a net loss whenever one is sold

and ford already has cornered the market for commercial fleet trucks and vans

it's sedan sales are small compared to truck sales already, so they just stopped making them until EV's become economical
