But check this out: The reverse is totally fine! So it's not a case of the planchet being a dud or misplaced. The actual die itself was misaligned! Seems pretty big on the "oops" scale. Only thing is I haven't found any documentation of this striking error of a bad obverse on a 1974 Philedelphia penny. Any more knowledgeable anons have anything to say about it? Not really looking for cash unless it's worth $100+, I'm just curious about a cool error I found.
