I just know they are a great way to gamble when gold starts flucuating if you pay attention to gold's price

Gold has been dropping since Trump got into office though, so I got out of that fame,
And when I tried holding GLD as a hedge, I noticed whenever indexes dropped, gold would too, which kind of defeats the purpose , so I sold all my GLD shares at $115

Currency is a better hedge than any commodity
