Also, I should add, Peter Lynch very much adhered to the style of taking a look and a walk around society, and observing where the masses were flocking to and spending their money the most and the most often. He would use there observation methods to decide where to put his clients money and when to spot small, up and coming companies that looked prime to attract big crowds in the future.

Was probably easier back then at the height of physical retail and shopping malls (as you'll read in the book, his stories of walking around malls etc) but a lot of the meat in his books still ring true today.
