Exactly.
So I really don't get why my accountant is pushing for a car.
Sure it lowers my taxable income, but it's still financially detrimental in the end.

I have a 5-y-o business car that's been paid off and fully deducted.
I have very little in terms of deductible costs in my line of work, and a car is my accountant's solution.

Pretty sure the porportionality of the calculation remains the same.
The only thing that changes is there won't be any interest, and I might get flagged by the tax man for "splurging".
