I got her fired over this. Do waitoids really think they can get away with this? What goes through their head when they do this? This is the second time in last 12 months this happened to me.

I'll just get right to the point. I am not doing this right. I'm in my mid-forties and I don't even have a single friend. I also haven't had a job in over 20 years. It's been so long since I worked that at this point I dont even know if getting a job would make the kind of difference in my life that it should. I'd have to start over completely. Like a shit college age job. Every time I think I'm doing something kind of goofy or the fun side of edgy, I either piss people off completely, or it just bombs. The weird part is that I'm smarter than a lot of people. Truthfully. In a room like this I'm probably somewhere in the middle but that means in a normal room I should easily outfox people. It just doesn't really work though. Without sounding gay and cliche, how do you reinvent yourself at this age? What do you do? I'm married and happy in my marriage (no kids) so it's not really a loneliness thing....except it is. Every year it's harder to take comfort in the idea that I still have time. I'm open to whatever suggestions anybody might have. I'm not too proud to listen. Not anymore. Jannies, this is about turning my life around. It's serious business, and this is a business board.
