So proud of all my boys here that have listened and seen the light. I never 'shilled' anything. I have nothing to gain by spending hours dumping copy pastas and resources for you to read. Stakenet is trying to make Bitcoin and its principle mainstream, so everyone can be his own bank, own the private keys to his assets and spends them like they wish.
This will be made possible by a very up-to-date UI (look at our Multicurrency Light Wallet), adapting the latest technology and by this overcoming blockchain problems (Lightning Network) and all this easy to use for every user (eg simple swap UI).
So we are building an infrastructure / an ecosystem so crypto can be used, hold and spent by everyone.

Bitcoin and eth will not go anywhere without layer 2 solutions. We've seen in 2017 and the mini defi run recently that onchain congestion skyrockets with only a small amount of usage. This has to be dealt with or crypto will not be usable. Stakenet aims to solves the congestion problem by using layer 2 methods such as lightning and raiden. Not only is stakenet far ahead of ALL competition but they are also helping the wider crypto space prepare for the upcoming GBR by adopting and making these L2 solutions usable.

Unlike other 'dexs' like avax for example which uses wrapped assets. Stakenet uses layer 2 solutions such as lightning and raiden which allow it to trade Btc to Eth natively. You keep control of your funds the entire time, you do not need to reply on a issuer of any sort.

With the recent bitcoin PA it's important to remember what happened the last time bitcoin rose to new highs. High network congestion, expensive network fees. Lightning fixes this, stakenet fixes the dex issue.
