I've been saying Boeing makes shit planes since 2018 and regulators somehow allow them to do so, even before crashes it was apparent to me that much faster built plane than its NEO counterpart has imbalance with engines vs size. But now we know FAA was actually not regulating jack (US Congress words, not mine)

there's more to it when it comes to pricing if you want to speculate on it, option price actually decays over time cuz time is part of option pricing model. but yes, whole idea of options was asymmetrical returns to protect your capital. ofc that bring asymetrical return seeking speculators aswell. Here's an example of return curve based on price upon expiry. As you can see if you buy contract your loss is limited to contract price but your return is asymetrical af. If Apple goes to 300 by May 15th you're gonna make over 1k profit on 685 contract.
