I've brought up this fact to my dad that I think he spoils us and I don't like it because it makes me feel worthless. Whenever I do, he tries to justify it for me that I'm in school full time (actually I am on a break year between bachelor and master's degree due to I have some failed exams) or that I "earn" the money some sort of other way. For example we have renovated the facade and roof of the house and he sees that as summer work and pays me for it, quiet handsomely as you might guess. Other than this I also have a bank account with hefty savings from my dad.

There are more examples but I think you get the picture. I should add that I'm suffering from some sort of depression/trauma/inferiority complex probably originating from my parent's divorce which was quite rough and long, I've started dealing with this going to a shrink. So as I said, I try not to be spoilt and "earn" the allowance I recieve. However I can't get this fact out of my head that I am a spoilt piece of shit and I just feel worhtless knowing this, that I get things without working for them.

I consider myself incredibly lucky and I am grateful for what my dad does for me, but it doesn't change the way I feel about myself and I want to change. What should I do to earn my own money or make myself worhty of what I'm recieving from my dad? I know school should be the focus for me, but I have friends who manage school while making their own money.
