perfect power function growth (y=a*x^2+b*x+c) gives you a set amount of gains, that stays the same as long as you hold it (as long as the price keeps on increasing like that)

perfect exponential stock growth (y=C*e^x) would only get you a power series (y=a*x^2+b*x+c) worth of growth, which while great in the short term, loses out to the price of just holding the same positions as stocks at some point
