Start with a 24 hour fast.

Fasting is very psychological, and you got to ease yourself into it. Learn how your body responds, learn what it feels like to resist food temptation, just for one day. I also recommend buying some electrolyte mineral tablets to take with water, it can decrease headaches and other unpleasant symptoms when only drinking water (pic related). Make sure you get ones without calories and without caffeine. These can help make water fasting more bearable.

After that you can increase the time of the fast systematically.
