Communists unironically believe "capitalism" is whenever the capitalist class is in charge of society.
So theoretically the most unfree markets in the world can be "capitalist" to them as long as there is some capitalists operating. So all of the bad things that happens in extremely interventionist countries and dictatorships are automatically the fault of "capitalism" and if only we got rid of capitalism and had the workers run everything we would live in a utopia.
