so i occasionally go rockhounding, usually on some blm land south side of henderson, but i wanna start lookin elsewhere. i read that nelson was an average gold mining area way back and wanna check it out.

how exactly do i find out which parcels already have claims on them, and which ones are open for prospecting/digging? i just wanna park on the side of the road and bike a little bit and look for some fancy agate and gold
