I would if I had a large outstanding position in terms of the underlying stock already but for stuff like TSLA, SPY, and TQQQ the swings are directional enough over a 2-day period that I can write 1DTE options with more than 90% winrate and still get out on the losing trades with profit because of the extremely rapid theta decay in the last 1.5 days before options expire.
