sentinel is built to be censorship resistant also the state can't really tell if you are hosting a node it anyone would simply see packets of encrypted obfuscated data being relayed to a random pc.
sentinel is tought so that people for example in china can have easy access to VPNs, they have a huge problems of vpn providers being easily shut down, with sentinel it would be impossible cause you would simply see residential traffic and not data center traffic.
