Let me give you an example. I work for a 1+ billion startup that got fucked hard by the rate hike. My team is in charge of an internal tool that replaces two google sheet tabs. For whatever reason, this caught the upper management attention and they have been none stop shilling this project. Last month they reorganized around 1/3rd of the company around this tool, claiming that this project will save the abysmal sales and take us to IPO. Its fucking bizarre to see all the c-suites acting like retarded toddlers, but here we are
