Exactly one second before i realized that the very consept of truth is subjective, and that the fact that humans see truth as objective is just a desperate attempt to create an illusion of control in the midst of chaos.

I'm in so early after selling chainlink last week before the dip.

There's a new coin on the block, well, token that's performing fantastically and got a 30% boost today for being listed.

And when I view all of /biz/, catalog, not one post about it.

This is smart money, frens.

If you know what I'm talking about, don't mention it, /biz/ doesn't deserve it due to the influx of redditors.

>don't hold SQQQ / TQQQ anon
>it costs money overnight anon
>ETF decay makes you ded anon

listen up, dumbfags:
Most leveraged products which represent an index do so by regular swaps. This means it follows the index for a certain time, for example one day, checks it's % difference between open and close and then applies this to the tradeable product. This is not a problem if the product is not leveraged, however has a generally unwanted effect on leveraged products, where the product over time differs from the index it tries to represent.

Example, 2x S&P500 ETF, daily swap

Start day 1: S&P500 is 2000; ETF is 2000
End day 1: S&P500 is 2200 (up 10%); ETF will be 2400 (+2x10%)
End day 2: S&P500 is 2000 (down 11%); ETF will be 1872 (2400 - 2x11%)

So as you can see, although the index is worth the same from going sidewards, the ETF lost in value.

This money does not "dissapear", it's a math issue.
You can make use of this effect, if the market goes up several days in a row, the product rises more than the actual index.
However, the stock market more often has up-and-down alternating days rather then several days up, so you generally lose because of this.
This doesn't mean you can only hold intraday - 2x is generally okay for a few days, maybe even weeks depending on your strategy. 3x could also be okay for a few days. Everything above gets very high risk / little reward to hold for more than a day.
Problem with leveraged ETFs is the little chance of "winning": Market goes down - you lose, market goes sideways - you lose, market goes up - you win. 1/3.

TLDR: Read it, you are not really working right now anyways
