If everything is dropping at a similar rate then you don't really lose that much.
Just pick the one that is dropping the least.
The only thing that seems to be going up are commodities so put some money in that as a hedge.
For example if cash is losing 8% per year but the stock market loses 50%, cash actually gained 82% value against stocks. You can buy 82% more stocks than a year earlier with the same amount of cash in real terms.
