I have a general theory that a lot of movies especially sci-fi movies are windows into a possible/probable futures and our mind fills in the blacks with drama and stories.Like a dream.
I remember this movie called looper. The American economy had collapsed and America was basically the new Argentina and because of this silver was being used as
currency as silver/gold is the only store of value that can transcend time/space (in terms of the value of record)
