CZ fudded CryptoDotCom because he sees it as big competition against Binance and it's CRO coin can directly compete with his BNB coin. Comparing market caps if CRO has the same market cap as BNB that would shoot CRO from 8 cents to 2 dollars but don't forget we're also in a bear market so in a bull market it could reach even higher. Now for the reason you should buy now is besides CRO being near a all time low, if the current rumors are true and Binance does end up getting banned in the US then that would give CDC the perfect opportunity to take it's market share thus pushing CRO to complete it's destiny in being the next BNB.

Probably because CRO got popular and mooned right before the crypto market started crashing so now alot of people who bought it are under but they would of been under if the bought Bitcoin or anything else at the time so it's all redundant but their too stupid to realize that so their just blaming CRO. Personally I think they've been doing a good job navigating this bear market and next bull run I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 2 dollars.
