This also means it's the safest PoS chain. Since Cardano is 51% byzantine resistant, meaning, you'd need 51% of all circulating ADA to attack the system. There's not enough ADA for sale anyway to do this, and would drastically drive the price up if anyone attempted it.

Only risk is missing out on an epoch and lose out on one set of rewards. You ADA does not leave you wallet. You can spend and receive ADA while delegating to a pool.
