They choose who makes the fiscal decisions. Presidential elections might have the protection of the electoral college, but local politics in cities (where most of the money is spent) is entirely controlled by democrats who will always have the brown vote due to welfare and affirmative action. Once Biden gets rid of the electoral college you'll see some real shit when it comes to fiscal decisions.

Makes it easier for small companies that can ignore all this bullshit to have an edge, thats pretty cool. Another general point. Your biggest expense in life will be taxes, and taxes only benefit those who will never make it or those who have made it so big that they now own the taxers. So its only smart to work as hard as you can to reduce your tax burden unless you live in a small homogeneous country thats fiscally responsible and doesn't give welfare to outsiders.
