You fucking retard. In both cases the company would have to do extra work to integrate the data into their existing systems. Whether it comes from an API or an "oracle" is completely irrelevant. In this case an API and Chainlink are the exact same thing for a company, except they already have people on their payroll able to make and integrate custom APIs at no extra cost.

This isn't even debatable. No company is using "oracles" because there is no real world scenario in which they're more efficient, or cheaper, than an in-house solution.

Before investing in a crypto project you should ask yourself "is this solution more efficient, cheaper or better than anything else in the market? What problem does this project solve?" Linktards have been utterly unwilling to do this which is why they're baholding a token that nobody is using.
