It doesn't always work, but yeah I do like to use network connections as a sort of proxy to heuristically infer expectations for future growth/valuation. You just have to remember to err on the conservative side.

Another example would be the fact that Kilt Protocol's Head of Developer Relations is now Sparks' community manager. KILT's ATH valuation was over $1B, Sparks is currently 1/1000th of that, or about 0.1%. Even if Sparks only reached 10% of KILT's ATH, that would still be 100x.
