Yes, the prospects of the project looked great, but in the end I lost confidence in the team running it.

Banking everything literally on 1, maybe 2 guys who hardly interact with their community and the CEO has almost no charisma, no roadmap, has signs pointing towards personal issues (weight gain and snap holiday), is right now AWOL with no contact at all, little substantive progress in quite a long time. It's very risky. What I want if I'm going to back a project is not only a great concept but a decent sized team of specialised and enthusiastic people who have constant engagement in the community and look like they're living and breathing the project.

Yes I know, "hurr durr you're just looking at personality to make a decision that's retarded", but most successful major companies happened largely because of the enthusiasm of their creator or team. Chainlink's team looks like a basket case.

Couple that with the fact this is just an idea, that could be copied at any moment by a better and more fastworking or better connected team that could beat Chainlink to the function. It's too much.

It's not at all guaranteed that anything will happen in December, so I'll hold other altcoins like ODN an Ark that are more likely to have good Decembers and I feel safer for it, and I'll review Chainlink at EOY. IF Sergey's back with a vibrancy, a roadmap of deals, perhaps some new team employees including a community manager who can get some enthusiasm and momentum going, I might buy back in.

I'm really getting pissed now, I've been waiting for ETH to hit $500 so I can cash the maximum out into LINK. And LINK and ETH have REFUSED to seperate, either LINK is rising while ETH is rising or LINK is rising while ETH is falling or ETH falls when LINK does, therefore, I can't max.

This is exhausting, I just want to get that extra 1k LINK I could get from a 0.16 LINK combining with a $500 ETH and then hodl-and-forget with Link in my wallet. A nagging part of me says I'll regret not playing this now for that extra 1k link that could be worth 10k itself when this thing moons to $10.
