A commodity bull run is more than just gold/silver doing well. Gold and silver do well at the end of commodity bulls. If you want to ride the entire bull and not just one aspect of it, you need to learn which commodities go parabolic first and in what order.

Coal -> Oil -> Natgas -> Uranium -> Platinum -> Copper, Zinc and Rare Earths -> Gold and Silver

If you know the moves, you can compound your gains. Maybe you have started $100k of gold and silver and you'll come out of the bull with $500k of real estate or cash (if you're able to part with your PMs). I started with $100k of coal and oil equities and I've already turned it into $1 million, and I'm diversifying into the rest of the commodities.

Probably the northern states such as North Dakota meets all that criteria.

Oil is pretty big out there, but with the oil downturn just working hard probably won't get you great income since grunt work isn't available at this time.

You'll likely need an American degree to make good money.

With a degree you'll pretty much always have a fairly decent standard of living regardless of the state in America. Best investment I've ever made...well that an onaholes
